Your safety and comfort come first
At all MTQ rest areas it is forbidden to:
- Stop for more than four hours or for the night (not applicable to truckers taking their mandatory rest break).
- Leave trash or conduct any commercial activity without MTQ consent.
Loitering or gathering in rest areas is not allowed as it can undermine the trust of road users with respect to these facilities.
All rest areas in the basic network are indicated on the Québec Official Road Map and are open to all drivers desiring rest breaks during travel. These rest areas are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of road network users. We invite you to visit them!
